Denver Century Ride

June 20, 2010
A New Century for Denver
Denver’s newest active-lifestyle event is the Coldwell Banker Denver Century Ride. This inaugural bike ride will take place on Father’s Day, June 20, 2010, and will feature a 22-mile Family FUN Ride, an EXHILERATING Metric Century at 62 miles and a CHALLENGING Century route at 100 miles.
Anticipated to attract 3,600 participants, each ride will follow a circular route that will start and end at INVESCO Field and cover a blend of urban, suburban, foothills and mountain terrain on roads and trail systems throughout the Denver Metro area for all levels of cycling enthusiasts to enjoy, from novice, to intermediate and avid cyclists.
Father's Day 2010 was selected to provide the ideal way to spend a fun and healthy day outdoors with dad, friends and fellow cyclists. The ride will conclude with an old-fashioned community picnic at INVESCO Field. Other activities include an Expo and Finish Festival where riders and spectators can discover the latest and greatest products and services for their active lifestyle.
