Colorado Garden & Home Show

Simply stated, there is no other consumer show of its kind in the Rocky Mountain West that has achieved the success and notoriety of the Colorado Garden & Home Show. The 49-year old non-profit organization utilizes more floor space, attracts larger audiences (70,000 adults), has more exhibitors, and invests more in advertising. The notoriety and benefit of association with this annual event provides its sponsors with tremendous impact and exposure to reaching and selling to their target customers.

Colorado Women's Expo

For one weekend next May, the Post-News Colorado Women’s Expo will bring together thousands of women to sample and experience the products and services that are important in their lives.
In this inaugural year, an anticipated 11,000 women will receive timely advice, new products and hear from a variety of experts in the areas of Style/Fashion, Health/Fitness, Finance/Career and Home/Food. More than 150 companies are expected to exhibit in the 100,000 sq. ft. Colorado Convention Center.
These are the women you want to reach! 80% are homeowners; 66% are between the ages of 35 and 55; 67% have a household income of $30,000 - $90,000; Further, women account for more than 80% of household spending decisions. |

Cherry Creek Arts Festival

Each July fourth weekend for the past sixteen years, 380,000 attendees are drawn by 200 of the most accomplished and cutting edge artists from across the United States.
In 2005 for a record fourth time, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival received the Gold Grand Pinnacle from the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), distinguishing it as the top Festival in its budget class worldwide. Furthermore, the Festival was singled out last year by the artists themselves as the top arts festival in the United States by the National Association of Independent Artists. No other arts festival in the United States has received more awards and accolades than the Cherry Creek Arts Festival.

Colorado Dragon Boat Festival

Held the last weekend each July, the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival attracts 95,000 attendees comprised of a diverse and desirable audience.
Few events in Colorado combine as many elements as the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival. It is a sports competition with 54 corporate and community teams comprised of some 1,350 competitors, plus 95,000+ spectators. It is an ethnic celebration of Colorado’s rich Pan Asian American heritage. It is a cultural showcase of diverse Asian cuisine and performing artists. It is a marketplace of unique and hard-to-find arts, crafts and vendors.

HBA Parade of Homes

Produced by the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver, the annual Parade of Homes is the region’s leading home tour.
This 38-day event runs from the last weekend of July through Labor Day and features five extraordinary homes created by the region’s top custom builders, landscapers and interior designers. It is supported by more than $250,000 in paid advertising
The POH attracts 90,000 people. 76% are married; 89% are homeowners; 64% are between the ages of 25-54; 50% have household incomes of $90,000 or greater. |

Starz Denver Film Festival

The Starz Denver Film Festival is the largest event of its kind in the region. Each November, the Festival showcases more than 200 new films from around the world to an audience exceeding 35,000.The participation of nearly 100 international filmmakers, directors, actors and other film artists from 30 countries in the 10-day Festival, create an aura of energy and excitement unique to the Denver scene.
The medium age of the Festival attendee is 36 years old with more than half the audience falling in the demographic age range of 25-49 years-old. Thet are likely to be highly affluent. 29% have an annual income of $60,000 - $100,000; 15% report income of $100,000 - $149,000; and 10% make more than $150,000 annually. SDFF audience members are also highly educated group of people with 79% having completed college or post-graduate degrees. |

Parade of Lights

For 34 years on the first Friday and Saturday nights following Thanksgiving week, the 9NEWS Parade of Lights has signaled the official kick-off of Colorado’s Holiday Season. This community celebration has delighted audiences young and old, both those attending in person along the two-mile parade route through Downtown Denver, or those tuning into the highly-rated primetime telecast on top-rated 9NEWS. This year, on December 5th and 6th, the 2008 9NEWS Parade of Lights is expected to draw more than 375,000 live attendees plus be tuned in by another 360,000 households for the high definition telecast.
