Festival Overview:

The Starz Denver Film Festival is the largest event of its kind in the region.  Each year, the Festival showcases more than 200 new films from around the world to an audience exceeding 35,000. The inclusion of approximately 100 international filmmakers, directors, actors and other film artists from 30 countries actively participating in the 10-day Festival helps to create an aura of energy and excitement unique to the Denver scene.

The majority of these films would rarely be seen in the Rocky Mountain region outside the venue of the Festival which creates an important showcase for the best of  new world cinema, provides a platform for international film artists and promotes a dialogue between filmmakers and the public.  With three principal venues, Opening and Closing Premiers, public dialogues with directors and actors, a variety of galas, receptions, VIP hospitality areas and special industry awards, the Starz Denver Film Festival can provide your company with an ideal opportunity to reach and impact the highly educated and affluent film enthusiast as well as key corporate and community leaders and influencers.

 

 

 

Starz Denver Film Festival Audience Profile

Gender:  The Festival’s audience is comprised of 55% female and 45% male members.

Ethnicity: 82% of the audience is Caucasian/White followed by 6% who are Hispanic/Latino; 4% are Black/African American; 3% are Asian; 2% are Native American; and 3% are from other ethnic groups.

Age: The medium age of the Festival attendee is 35 years old with more than half the audience falling in the demographic age range of 25-49 years-old.  A further break down of this age group shows that 2% of the audience is under 18; 9% are 18-24; 20% are 25-34; 32% are 35-49; 32% are 50-64 and 5% are 65 and older.

Income: The Festival attendee is likely to be highly affluent.  Some 29% have an annual income of $60,000 - $100,000.   Further 15% report income of $100,000 - $149,000 and 10% make more than $150,000 annually.  Of the remaining total 26% have an annual household income of up to $40,000.        20% earn between $41,000 and $59,000.

Education: This is a highly educated group of people with 79% having completed college or post-graduate education. The breakdown is: 41% Graduate School or some Graduate School; 38% 4-year College degree; 18% Associates Degree or some college; and 3% High School degree or less
